HISTORY & EXPERIENCE
A family owned business that started back in the year I960, in Damascus, Syria, with a vision to redefine standards in the soap-making and Personal care industry.
We started as exclusive agents for global giants like Colgate, Palmolive and later represented P&G and Johnson&Johnson in Syria. Building on this foundation, we venture into creating our own brands and products, Gaining a substantial share in the Syrian market, and establishing a strong presence internationally.
Began the production of Rouge Baiser lipstick under the license of Paul Boudecroux.
We began the production of Glade air fresheners and Raid insecticides amongst other products under license of JOHNSON WAX until the year 1982.
Began the production of cosmetics such as mascara, lipstick, nail polish, and creams under the license of CHESEBROUGH PONDS until The year1985.
Began the production of SIKKIM, ELIPSE, ANAI Sand BALFARE under the License of LANCOME until the year 1985.
Began the production of ARAMIS and SUPERESTEE under license of ESTEELAUDER until the year 1982.
Began production of YARDLY products until the year 1983.
We established a factory for manufacturing LUX soap under the license of UNILEVE.
We built a facility to manufacture Persil detergents along with other products under license of HENKEL.
Began the production of Palmolive soap under license of COLGATE-PALMOLIVE and added a dental cream production facility according to the Good Manufacturing Practices(GMP)to manufacture Colgate dental creams.
Acquired a pasta and noodles factory to manufacture our own brand of pasta.
We established Kachlan & Company for Hygienic Paper Industry and built a plant for manufacturing GEORGIA-PACIFIC products.
We established AlAhliah for Distribution with branches in Damascus. Aleppo, Latakia, and Homs.
Established International Foods to produce frozen yogurt under license Of TCBY Frozen Yogurt for the Middle East region.
We became the exclusive distributors for genera mills Becy Crocker brans in Syria.
We became the exclusive distributors for Nestle Nespresso in Syria.
We became the only company in the world licensed to produce toiletry products under the Georgia-Pacific Lotus brand.
We entered the home appliance market by becoming the licensed distributors of the Kumtel brand of home appliances made in Turkey.
